Our indoor facility will provide year-round hours of entertainment and we are looking for energetic and customer oriented applicants to fill our open positions. Three Rivers Karting is the perfect place to launch your career with flexible full-time and part-time opportunities. We are now hiring for our Crew Member position. Crew Members primary responsibilities will include:  

  • Track Official: Track Officials will ensure an excellent racing experience through assisting customers with entering and operating the karts, monitoring the action on the track, and most importantly, keeping our riders safe. 
  • Cashier: Cashiers will assist with signing in customers, ringing up purchases, and coordinating/scheduling races.

Candidates will be asked to work approximately 20 to 40 hours per week and will include a mix of weekdays, weeknights, and weekends.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • High energy and fantastic customer service skills
  • Previous work experience in retail or hospitality preferred, but not required
  • Cash handling experience preferred, but not required

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent customer service to all 3RK visitors and customers
  • Promptly answer phones in a professional and friendly manner
  • Assist customers with questions and/or concerns both in person and over the phone
  • Sell and upsell race packages
  • Assist customers with sign-in
  • Manage all facility purchases, including races, merchandise, and concessions
  • Coordinate and schedule races precisely and efficiently
  • Assist customers with entering, exiting, and operating the karts
  • Manage races precisely, on time, and safely
  • Monitor and manage the action on the track to ensure racer safety
  • Maintain track, front desk, and facility cleanliness at all times
  • Keep merchandise and concessions organized and stocked at all times

Job Requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Provide proof of identity and eligibility to work in the United States
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Weekends are a must!
  • Able to lift 50 pounds
  • Able to stand for long periods of time

Mechanic

If you have a mechanical background and a love for speed, then Three Rivers Karting is the perfect place for your next career. We are now hiring for our Mechanic position. As a Mechanic, you will service and maintain our fleet of state-of-the-art, high performance, high speed electric go karts. The right candidate will have experience in mechanical repair and maintenance, preferably in the golf cart, go kart, motorcycle, or motorsports field, and will be self-motivated and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Mechanics Duties and Responsibilities will include:  

  • Perform opening track duties, kart repairs, and performance checks
  • Maintain kart performance and preventative maintenance throughout the day
  • Maintain track and facility appearance and functionality
  • Keep accurate documentation of repairs, parts inventory, and special projects
  • Responsibly maintain supply of tools and machinery
  • Promptly respond to emergency situations as they arise
  • Ensure that the pit, kart shop, and track areas remain clean and safe
  • Assist the track crew with track operations as needed
  • Perform specific facility cleaning and maintenance duties as assigned by management
  • Perform closing duties to secure the pit and track area and prepare for the following day’s operation
  • Ability to identify problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions

Job Requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Provide proof of identity and eligibility to work in the United States
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • A drug test and background check are required prior to employment
  • Knowledge of practices, methods, materials, and equipment used in repair and maintenance of general equipment
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Weekends are a must!
  • Able to lift 50 pounds
  • Able to stand for long periods of time
